Terms of sale
Please read the 'terms of sale' below before purchasing an item from us. These terms are there to protect both you and us helping to ensure a trouble free transaction.
As a limited company you can be assured that our level of service and quality of workmanship will be of the highest standard. If you have any questions please feel free to email us for further details.
We strongly advise you to view all items in person or ask for any further details if you are not entirely happy with the given item description. All items are classed as Vintage and so will show signs of wear and tear consistant with age.
Prices
All prices on our website or mentioned in any email correspondance are in GBP pounds sterling. International buyers should check for current exchange rates before purchasing from us
Payment
Unless otherwise agreed payment must be made in full before any item is delivered. Finished items on our website must be paid in full for a sale to be completed. Any customised jobs will require either payment in full up front or payment of an agreed deposite before restoration commences.

Products
All of our stock was originally manufactured in the 20th century and many intended for heavy industrial use. As such these items will show signs of wear consistant with age. This may include scratches, dents, minor corrosion and discolouring. We do however try to restore each item sympathetically to ensure the character and charm is not lost. In buying from Steel Vintage you are investing in a vintage piece of industrial furniture which will last a lifetime . Please do not buy from us if you are hoping to find items that look as new.
Descriptions
We take care to ensure all item descriptions are correct. Any marks or damage that are more than normal wear and tear are shown clearly in the item description. Return claims based on deviances between the item description and actual item will not be accepted.
In our photographic studio we go to great lengths to show the item as realistically as possible. This includes video footage of most items. However, due to the constraints and variations of digital reproduction we cannot guarantee an exact colour depiction. We try to photograph all our items without any reflections to best represent the original metal surfaces. Being of a very reflective nature some photographs may show signs caused by the reflections from surrounding objects. Our descriptions and measurements are as accurate as possible, however some slight variations may occur.
We reserve the right to withdraw an item at anytime.
Cancellations
You can cancel an order by calling +44 (0) 781 320 67 54 or emailing us at sales@steelvintage.com. As all our items are bespoke, in the event you wish to cancel an order we will unfortunately have to charge a cancellation fee of 25% of the item value plus any courier fees that have been incurred.
Returns Policy
We are pleased to offer a refund or exchange on returned items, excluding shipping costs, if you are not happy with your purchase. Return postal, shipping or courier charges are incurred at the purchasers own expense. All initial shipping costs, including packing and insurance are non-refundable. A 25% re-stocking fee will be charged on all returns unless it has been agreed the item was not as described. Any items damaged by the courier must be photographed immediately and the original packaging retained for successful insurance claims.
Privacy Policy
Steel Vintage Ltd respects your privacy rights and all of our customers’ records are private, confidential and stored securely. When submitting your e-mail or payment details, your information is stored safely within our secure client database and will not be passed on to any third parties.
If at any point you would like your e-mail address to be removed from our mailing list database please send an email to us sales@steelvintage.com with the subject 'unsubscribe'.
Circumstances beyond our control
Steel Vintage Ltd reserves the right to cancel, vary or suspend any contract of sale if events occur which are beyond our control including fire, floods, storms, lock-downs, riots, industrial action, or non-availability of materials or supplies. In the event of any circumstance which may lead to the delay in your order we will endeavour to inform you as soon as possible.
Insurance
Steel Vintage Ltd has full public liability insurance and insurance for loss of all stock and equipment. All items delivered are covered by the either our own or the couriers individual insurance policy.
